Course Description:

The 8-Hour SST Worker Refresh Bundle is a refresher course designed to help New York City construction workers maintain their SST 40 card, in compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations. Workers are required to complete 8 hours of Site Safety Training (SST) every 5 years to keep their SST card active. This training bundle provides two options for renewing your SST 40 card and ensures that workers remain knowledgeable about updated safety protocols, hazard prevention, and compliance requirements on construction sites.

The course must be completed within 12 months before the card’s expiration date, and the fee includes the cost of issuing the SST40 card upon successful completion.

Course Objectives:

  • Refresh Safety Knowledge: Reinforce key safety concepts, ensuring workers stay updated on the latest regulations.

  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with NYC DOB safety training requirements for workers on construction sites.

  • Minimize Risks: Equip workers with the skills to identify, prevent, and manage potential hazards on the jobsite.

  • Update SST40 Card: Completion of this course will renew the SST40 card, allowing workers to remain compliant and eligible to work on NYC construction projects.
